shareOh, well just because I find that most big YouTube reviewers praise them all as if each one is the next T2 or something, then when I watch it, I'm like "That's it? That's what everyone has been raving about?"
I find most of them to be pretty average and mostly forgettable. The CGI isn't great either, considering these movies cost 100 million dollars to make, they don't look that remarkable to me.
There's about 10+ films in the franchise and none of them have really done anything remotely impressive or that sticks out in cinema. This is the current, biggest thing in cinema with over 10 movies, yet there's nothing that sticks with me. No particularly great scenes just jokes, jokes, bad jokes and cgi action.
It's cool if you like them, but I need more than that in movies.
I agree. With the exception of 2 or 3 fun movies, they are pretty much a see once and forget affair.
People praise Iron Man a lot and it's one of those movies I really don't get the hype about. It's fun to watch... once... and that's it.
Civil War was quite alright [the best villain for me, cool intro of BP and a new Spiderman] and an interesting take on the group. I'll watch it again on TV when it shows [really digged the final sequence].
Thor Ragnarok was hilarious... but meh at the same time.

Superman the movie and Spider-Man 2 I like way more than any Batman movie. You just couldn't come against my arguments. Oh he doesn't like the MCU as much as me he must be a Batman fanboy right? I care about the quality of the movie I am watching not how much money it makes. According to you money=quality. Remember from your own mouth Avengers is better than the Dark Knight because it made more money.
The mcu isn't memorable it's simply bankable. It's good and decent but nothing in it has that strong of artistic value. Not on the level of Superman the movie, Spider-man 2, the Dark Knight or Logan. All of those films are stronger movies and have stronger artistic value than any MCU film.
Black Panther is looking like it might be the first MCU movie with strong artistic value. I knew after seeing Ryan Coogler as the director that this one had a strong chance at being a winner. He is the most talented director MCU has chosen to do a project thus far. Fruitvale Station and Creed were stellar!
