Maybe I'm getting old but the ability to survive stabbings in this (and it's predecessor too) is fucking ridiculous. I started laughing when Chad was alive again at the end. And Mindy was running over to the ambulance despite getting stabbed in the gut on the subway? Wasn't that just a few hours previously?

Are they for real with this shit? Even Mindy's girlfriend got stabbed in the gut, the killer turns the knife and then pulls upwards. One minute later she's crawling across a ladder. Just fuck off! You'd be dead or completely incapacitated in reality.

Oh and Ethan gets stabbed through the mouth, she twists the knife but somehow gets up again right at the end? Riiiiiiiiiiight....cartoon violence it is then. Guess teenagers are its target audience so I can just go fuck myself it seems.

Yeah you’re right about all of that. I’m surprised the lesbo wasn’t didn’t meet a different date.

It seems that if they aren’t in the refrigerator you can safely assume they are still alive.

Chad was the most ridiculous of the series, I don’t understand how he lived. He was stabbed at least 30 times

Yeah granted Dewey survived several brutal stabbing sun the first few movies but when Chad and Mindys gf walks up at the end. The first one was like “oh boy” and then the second and I was like “omg this is dumb as hell!”

Terrible decision to bring back both of those characters - they needed to die.

Yes but let's break down Dewey throughout the series.

Part 1 stabbed in the back. Believable.

Part 2 he returns with a severed nerve and a funky limp. He is again stabbed in the back again, although the medics said he was stabbed over old scar tissue thus helping him survive. Okay fine.

Part 3 stabbed in the arm.

Part 4 hit multiple times over the head with a bedpan.

Part 5 he acknowledges he still had permanent nerve damage.

Dewey I felt was at least somewhat done realistic. Chad was stabbed 7 times in Scream 5. Returns in 6. Is seen shirtless at the frat party with no scars visible at all. Is stabbed 11-12 times in part 6 and is carted off while still having time to make a lame core 4 joke on the way out. Ughhhhhh

If that means 7 is a massacre, so be it. But now that that’s the more obvious thing they’ll probably “subvert our expectations” blah blah blah and the cringe four will survive again.

What makes Chad so special that he can live even though he has a dick?
