bombed - was it racism?

bigots again

The movie is not that bad. The marketing was just not existing as everybody seemed to be focused too much on Barbenheimer...

should have released in October

reply

Yes, good as a Halloween movie.

Anytime Disney lose money it's because of either racism, sexism or homophobia.

In this case it's all three. Haunted Mansion is a movie for black lesbians. If you don't like it you're Adolf Hitler II.

reply

If it's a good movie, and isn't pounding an ideological agenda, most people will be open to seeing it. Sometimes (often) movies are just not good.

reply

I don't think racism had anything to do with it. People aren't interested in this story and the trailers didn't look that good.

reply

just because a movie bombs doesn't make it racism, if you haven't seen the movie itself was an okay but the in your face product placements makes it a bad movie

reply

This movie was so bad it made the Eddie Murphy version good again.

reply

Oh hell. It wasn’t that bad. 😳

reply

not even close. This was much better than the first one.

reply

It’s never racism. It’s bad quality and studios blame racists for the failure.

If there are enough racists in the country to shut down a major movies on a constant basis, then a majority of this country is racist.

And if that’s the case, studios better damn well stop making woke movies and shows or all studios are going broke, not just Disney.

reply

It flopped because it was boring. I finally watched it. Could not finish even with fast-forwarding. So boring was.
Turned off in the middle.
