The new litmus test for dating

I saw this article floating around on a few websites and women are using the Barbie movie as a litmus for men that they would want to date. So if a man agrees with the movie's feminist message he's dateable. I have no desire to see the movie ever.

reply

Yup. No one wants bigoted losers anymore.

reply

"Obey me or you're a red flag" sounds like bootlicking to me.

reply

I'm glad I married a woman long ago who is too smart for such nonsense. I don't have to worry about trying to date people who base important life decisions on a Barbie movie.

reply

Actually, the movie seems to be a reasonably acute Asshole Detector Test.

Definitely not something to base important life decisions on, just a way to avoid wasting time on someone basically incompatible.

reply

I'd say it's a good litmus test for the other side of the aisle too: if someone likes this film, don't hang out with them, and if a guy likes the film, it probably means he's not the man for you.

reply

If you're dumb enough to use that test, I wouldn't want to date you either.

reply

That's just clickbait/outrage-bait bullshit.

reply

There going be a lot future Single Cat Ladies because of this movie.

reply

It's not the single cat ladies who are terrified of ending up alone...
