The Dumbest thing Someone Does (SPOILERs I'm Sure)

1. The worst is that everyone tries to shoot Michael. It's obvious from his history that bullets, even a coat-hanger in the eye have no permanent effect on him. Laurie and Sartain for sure should've known. I'd guess that Laurie would've passed that on to Karen, too. But noooo... !

The fire was the first killing method I noticed that >> might << have worked. Of course we heard after the credits that it didn't.

2. Laurie leaving the hiding place, then everyone else leaving it. I'll put Ray's advancing toward the danger here too.

3. General waving-around of guns with no regard to where they're pointed. Laurie, at least, should've known better. Seems like so many film-makers do not.

It seems the only smart one in the movie was that annoying baby-sat kid. He reminded me of Rodney Allen Rippy, the Jack in the Box kid of their 70s commercials. Probably tested as "cute" in several focus groups.

Obviously since he is a mere elderly mortal in this timeline they will grow back just in time for the next movie

When the father and son encounter the bus crash, with all the crazy people walking about.

The father goes outside to check it out, without calling 911 first or getting his gun.

He should have called 911 and just left. Or (at the very least) call 911, get his gun, and then go check it out.

But you don’t just go out there with all the insane people.

In other words... horror movie problems. Boring response but the truth is none of these issues are unique to this film. It’s just the way things usually go down in scary flicks.

I was more bothered by Laurie heading to the hiding place to begin with. She had him down, so shoot him in the head. When she was in the basement, that just gave him time to hide.

How about shooting him in the head, and then chopping up his body and burning it .. that should do the trick so he can't come back to life (yet again).
