Why hasn't Rob revealed who's playing them yet? I've heard the "maybe it's a prequel" comments but even if it is, I can't imagine as big a Munsters fan as Rob Zombie is making a Munsters movie and leaving out two of the most beloved characters. Particularly when he's including characters like Zombo that only hardcore Munsters fans would remember. Plus, if it's a family friendly, PG rated movie, I feel like children should have a character they can relate to.

So I can see no reason in the world for him to leave these characters out. I hope they're announced soon but it makes me nervous that we haven't had any signs of their presence or even casting rumors by now.

Rob Zombie is a moron of the directing world, he probably hates Marilyn and Eddie. This cast is so bad, the only thing that could make this watchable is a blazing hot Pat Priest lookalike as Marilyn, but the studio would probably race swap her character for Democrat Party activism.

I agree that it's a stupid decision to leave them out. He'll already have Munsters fans pissed off before they even see 1 second of the movie. He can include all these 1-episode wonder characters like Lester, Gilbert, Zombo, etc., but 2 characters who appear in every single episode are somehow too much to ask for.

I'm not a fan of Rob either. For a start he lacks original ideas preferring to destroy things with his shitty remakes.

Eddie and Marilyn may be in the sequel since this movie takes place before Herman and Lily meet

Plus it's RZ and most of his movies get sequels. That's probably why he did leave those two characters out, if he did indeed leave them out. It leaves people wanting a sequel so that they can see them. The actress that played Marilyn is in the movie though. I just don't know who she's playing. Butch Patrick's in the movie too but I don't know who he's playing either.

Don't waste your time with this. Just saw the film the other day. My wife and I, being fans of the original sitcom, were hoping for a good movie. We didn't get one. This movie was bad on all fronts. Acting, dialogue and jokes.
Cassandra Peterson, who both my wife and I get a kick out of when she plays Elvira, was wasted here.
She should have played Lily, but, even then, I don't think she could have saved it.
