Worst movie of the 5. Kathleen Kennedy is the devil.

(Was that a little harsh?)

Just as I’ve blocked out everything after the Return of the Jedi (Ewoks be damned), I’m just going to pretend Indy ended with the Last Crusade and the ride off into the sunset.

The mind reels at how 33 years and God knows how many hundreds of millions of dollars produced two of the worst sequels in cinematic history.

The entire effort is a disgrace.

And Waller-Bridge is unwatchable. If Kathleen Kennedy is planning a Disney series around her, she should be given five minutes to clear out her office and escorted off the premises.

This be harsh not. Ya being a bit gentle compared to what the many others who see her as the diablo say (boring). She deserves this level of hate? Sure, projecting devils with such superior taste & mind. 🤓 This new film is totally the worst, though? Sure it is. Spread the word to all the obvious ones who felt this way before the film was even filmed.

Anyway, WHEW what a vast improvement over the last Indy this was! A real Indy adventure. (Also Dial of Destiny> Temple of Doom.) Aaah hell to the no? Yeah, well obvs this board is with you. Since day one all the kewl oh-so-happy chuds up here were ready to call it the worst ever and yada yada ya. In closing, so you had a very bad time with it. Tee hee

All I got out of this is that you like Kathleen Kennedy and you think Temple of Doom is the worst movie ever.

TOD - as much as I hated Willie and it was the weakest of the trilogy - blows away KOTCS and DOD.

The sad thing is that is definitely the plan, and the sadder thing is that Kathleen Kennedy is very likely going to survive this.

I don't think you were harsh enough, and I could have told you she was toxic all the way back in 2017 when she murdered Star Wars with that horrible "Last Jedi" movie, or even with the entire shitquel trilogy.

She is just another unqualified at her job. She is going to be replaced by someone who has the same boot licking chops as her. These times are strange for cinema. Nobody stands out anymore. The last creative spark was Pixar's. But ever since they made Toy Story 4, even they appear to have lost their way.

I've heard more than once that the higher-ups are sh*t scared of her, that she knows where too many bodies are buried and will start talking if she's fired or demoted. Basically, she's bombproof.
