wasn't that bad, people just pissed he's dead

I give it about a 7.5. Not too bad, & definately better than the original series ending, but still a bit flawed & yes, somewhat predictable.

Dexter dying is not the only reason this finale was bad.

The whole Bay Harbor Butcher/Matt killing was ridiculous. His reaction to getting arrested and killing Logan was ridiculous. They didn’t have a case to pin on him. He just need it to wait it out.

There should have been 12 episodes. Would be great if on the end of Episode 10 we see Dexter meeting Batista.

Yeah thats another thing, Dexter and Batista not getting a scene together was annoying, teased it then never delivered it.

Good ending for Dexter, terrible writing and direction for the finale. Definitely deserves to be lower rated episode than the original ending.

knee jerkers giving it a 1/10. I'd say it's a 6.

I just rated it a 10 to try to even out those knee jerkers. In reality I'd probably rate it 8 or 9 I guess. Between me and the knee jerkers, I think we make imdb's ratings worth diddly squat :-p
