Alicia Vikander miscast?

She's short, has small boobs (has to wear a push up bra with massive padding for the role), and has a somewhat heavy accent.

I know Angelina's too old for the role now, but why not cast someone whose physical attributes fit the role better?

reply

Angelina was miscast in the first place. Lara had big boobs while at the same time being athletic. Nothing similar to that saggy Mediterranean collagen lips cow we saw on screen.

reply

She's not very pretty either. Her acting is not very convincing, especially in the ''tomb'' scenes.

Total miscast. Even if u ignore small boobies and short stature what bothered me most is she actually cries like a lil gurl. Can’t buy she is actually tuff.

reply

I actually found the crying somewhat endearing. She doesn't have to be presented as Madame Butch to be tough.

I thought so, but to be fair: It's a new approach introducing a de-sexualizest, feminist-friendly Laura Croft more in line with the updated gaming model.

We are lucky they did not cast Daisy Ridley, Vik is a blessing compared to that.

reply

Yes because acting ability, being athletic, and being believable on screen isn’t important. They should have definitely cast someone who doesn’t know how to ride a bike and just use cgi for the action parts. Brilliant!!!

reply

Is there a reason they could't cast an actual britsh actress or somebody thats athletic looking
Thats the problem when you have movies about female heroes most of the women they cast are not believable in the role and are very underweight
Zoe Saldana as Gamora
Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman
Vikander as Lara Croft
