No, not really. The violence depicted is perpetrated by Protestants against Catholics. And by Protestants against other Protestants who refuse to take part in the violence.

Uh, I'm pretty sure the family that the movie focused on were Protestant and the violent people were Catholics. As did the 2 people I watched it with.

But we could be wrong!

You all were definitely wrong then….the violent mob was absolutely Ulster Unionist Protestants….,they were mad at the kids Dad because he was Protestant and wasn’t supporting them as much as he should have in their opinion.
