…you’ll really enjoy this. Not really a genre I’m that big on but I went bc it was a $5 ticket. It was long but very well done. Not understanding the hate for this one. For what it is it’s quite a good film that you kinda have to see in theaters to enjoy. Extremely loud.

Well, the production values are better and the guitar guy is cooler that the sax guy from "2019..." and the drummer guy from "1990: The Bronx Warriors" taken togheter but Hemsworth doesn't measure up to Geroge Eastman or Fred Williamson, though he really tried hard not to be his usual generic self and sort off managed to pull it off. But in reality, the acting bar is not much higher than in "2019: After The Fall Of New York" and only the young Furiosa actress managed to jump over it.

I can sorta see why people see it that way , but if you think about it - theres no sci fi involved
They are just fictional stories set firmly in our real world where certain completely physically possible , if not probable, events have occurred
usually they're set in the future and technological advancements have been made so that weaponry, vehicles, sometimes architecture and environments are integral to the plot
sharei know george miller watches the road warrior inspired/rip off films from all around the world. and i see that he borrows from them just as they borrowed from him. in this film i see some spacehunter, the sisterhoodand, wheels of fire and a nod to the evil dead trilogy.
