I gave up at around 45 mins in the movie

The lead actor is solid, and the cinematography looks good. But the plot moves slow (a lot of scenes where nothing happens), and the narration gets a little annoying. At times, I feel the film was trying too hard to be unique . Simply, this movie is boring

It seems like a movie that might’ve worked better as a book instead of a movie

I think the point was that it was supposed to make us feel bored. The beginning of the film was pretty much him talking about having to be patient and how listening to music kept his mind from wandering.

I gave up (might be a pause till I feel like seeing it) after 20 minutes. It was going nowhere. They could have shown that in a few minutes.

It was a slog of a movie.

I liked it, though it was mostly about character study than action. Still, thoughtful

If anyone's interested, I reviewed the movie on my youtube channel. Appreciate any feedback. Trying to improve -https://youtu.be/YvLnNJT4IT0

If you've read the American Psycho novel then this very much felt like that. I enjoyed it for what it was yet yeah it requires a specific audience to appreciate the 'not much happens' style. My main issue is the ending as I assumed more was going to happen yet then it simply... ended.

Thats too bad, you missed the epic fight scene with the brute.

Stick to John Wick, square.
