So let me get this straight (Spoilers)

A 5'2 110lbs girl manhandles Dewey, gets shot like 3 times and brushes it off, overpowers Dewey and kills him? Who the fuck are they trying to kid? that was by far the most ridiculous shit in this movie, that we're told this tiny girl is the one who killed Dewey and took those bullets in the hospital.

Go back and watch that scene of Dewey struggling with the killer in the hospital, with the killer's identity in mind and look how ridiculous that looks knowing its a 5'2 110lbs girl in the costume.

Yeah. This was awful. Scream really should've remained a trilogy.

reply

Should've remained a standalone film.

reply

Eh, I enjoyed part 2, and I think there was some good comedy drawn from the idea of a sequel, but I agree the third was meh.

reply

I have always thought that Scream should have been a stand alone film.

reply

I kept waiting for a 3rd killer to show up, cause no way in hell that tiny ass bitch could kill Dewey.

reply

Ghostface is really the guy on the phone. The killers revealed at the end sort of look like who he is... he could be God.

reply

Give me a break

reply

Yeah, I couldn’t get past that either. It was hilarious. She must work out. 🤣

reply

Fuck your 2,00O-character pussy limit.

I thought it was ridiculous that the young girl from the beginning who looks like a 10 year old was able to fend off the (much larger) killer(s) several times throughout the film despite being stabbed repeatedly and having her foot broken at one point, rendering her unable to even walk, and that's not even considering how the hell she was able to survive all those stabbings to begin with. She's practically gutted at the beginning and stabbed in the spine, but nope, the girl is indestructible.

Overall, a pretty stupid film, despite a few good scenes, mostly involving Dewey who was quite the surprising badass/comic relief. I managed to guess one of the killers within about 2 minutes of their introduction, and the other is just "let's make the weirdest looking one the other killer." Oh, and they're evil because fans of long running franchises who complain online when the stuff they've loved for decades is twisted into derivative, agenda driven garbage are evil! How dare fans demand quality rather than propaganda out of their mass entertainment! It's all the internet's fault! Waaa!

It's such a "Hollywood thumbing its nose at us peons" kind of film. The weakest of the series after the third one, which remains the worst.

Yeah. We ought to be calling on Hollywood to lay off the rehashes altogether, and get back to creating original content

reply

Will never happen as long as superhero films continue to be popular. You'll just keep seeing the same crap again and again until it stops making money.

reply

Amen. I can’t remember the last original, non rom-com (they’re ALL the same) movie and as much as I adore Harley Quinn, ENOUGH COMIC BOOK MOVIES!

The best movies seem to always be indie but they’re hard to find since advertising isn’t a thing w/ them and any original, non rom com or non superhero movie gets little advertisement. The last fantastic and added to one of my favorite movies list is The Professor. How did I heard about it? During Johnny Depp’s defamation trial. I checked it out because I hadn’t heard of it since it’s an indie film and a damn good movie.

That’s about it only last good original film I can think of…but I just remembered This Is Where I Leave You, another great original movie.

Reminds me that I still need to check out The Professor And The Madman

Well, another big problem:

the killer keeps hitting his head with shit, on a table, another table, getting punched. ETC.

But no one has any bruises or anything like that ... wtf?

reply

Thats one thing i appreciated at the end of Scream 2 when Mickey is revealed, when he takes off the mask he has a gash on his head, thats the only time the killers have had damage on their head when unmasking.

I couldn't get past Sam stabbing Richie over 20 times, and he still had something to say? He only shut up when she sliced his throat.
