She's not ugly but way too thin and it doesn't compliment her looks. She reminds me of Margot Kidder actually.

I like that she's older. It goes to show how she ages normally while Supes stays more youthful looking. I think it's appropriate for the couple later in their marriage.

People like to go on about how Amy Adams is miscast as Lois Lane, but I mean...at least she looks the part. And it's not like her acting is "bad", it's just that she wasn't given much to work with in Man of Steel, Batman V Superman, and Justice League. Other movies starring Amy Adams (such as Arrival) do a much better job at showing how great of an actress she can be.
On the other hand, there's nothing at all about Lois' character in Superman & Lois that screams "Lois Lane" to me at all. Terrible casting indeed.
Adams was horrible casting. Red head. Dumpy looking. Ten years older than Clark.
