No Sly?

No interest.

reply

He had cancer in the first Creed. Its too far fetched that he would still be alive at this point

reply

Sure, but they should give him a proper send-off.

I think this franchise does need to take off the shackles and be its own thing, without Sly, but I would like them to at least depict his departure in view of how important his legacy is.

reply

I want to know and learn more about those ATV riders from the first film when Adonis was training

reply

Why he could Box again, its Rocky remember.

reply

At least a brief cameo would have been nice

reply

He is dead in Creed 3, they attend his funeral. He died off screen.

reply

Screen is the most horrible, painful, lingering way to die! Poor Rocky...

reply

Is that confirmed?

reply

Yes

reply

I can find nothing online to confirm that. Everything indicates otherwise (i.e. that he's just not in it, but could always hypothetically return).

reply

Sylvester Stallone is not in this! He is dead.

reply

No. He's either lying or misinformed.

reply

Considering Sly Stallone has said in interviews he has no problems doing "Creed IV" with Michael B. Jordan as long as Irwin Winkler's not involved, AND Irwin Winkler himself said in a recent interview that they're not going to kill Rocky "as long as I'm alive" [which he is--and previously stopped Coogler from killing Rocky at the end of "Creed"]... 99.9% chance Rocky's still kicking.
