The Scene That Explains Why Avengers Worked and Justice League Didn’t | SCENE FIGHTS!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RWRCu-z-pg

Justice League and the Avengers are very similar movies. But one revolutionized modern cinema, and the other was a Frankenstein's monster that managed to please literally no one.

In this video we break down one scene that shows why one movie worked, and the other didn't.

reply

Not sure "literally" no one is correct here.

reply

so tell us which scene, don't just post a link.

Avengers worked because they had set up the main characters first.

Justice League didn't work because it had too many chefs in the kitchen. Just let Whedon or Snyder make it, not both.

reply

I'm not here to elaborate (that's what the entire video is for), but I'll give you a hint, it's 9:46 seconds in.

reply

Screw that 9:46, I don't have time to watch all the amateur videos out there and I prefer to get information in succinct written form than in extended, self-indulgent videos.

So spill the scene! Just a couple of words!

reply

That's why I said to just go to the 9:46 mark if you won't have the time to watch said amateur video!

reply

Just a three-word description of the scene, such as "Martha, Martha, Martha"? Pretty please?

reply

Thanks. I hate it too to be linked to mostly irrelevant reviews just to give them some more clicks...

reply

setup and payoff and character building..

I cared about all of the avengers main characters.

Sorry who was cyborg? sorry who was the flash?? sorry who was aqua man?

oh right I dont know these characters so I dont really care about them. and if I dont care about the characters why should I care about the mindless action and movie?

Summary: All Plot, No Story

A macguffin if you will to drive the story forward and make the rest of the scene that drove it forward moot.
