Yeah, those people are the worst

i remember watching it in the theater and being almost bored. however, when i watched it years later, it really effected me in a profound way. maybe it's one of those movies you have to grow-up to appreciate?

"maybe it's one of those movies you have to grow-up to appreciate?"

Nope, it just gets stupider upon rewatches. I had the same problem with Inception. It was cool for the first time, but I couldn't rewatch it without falling to sleep.

reply

I'm not a fanatic, but felt it was cool entertainment.
Maybe it is just a good movie to a lot of other people?

reply

there's a difference between "cool entertainment" and "the 26th best film of all time". if cool entertainment is all it takes, we need Tremors in the top 25 pronto.

reply

Imho, Interstellar is a damn fine film and possibly worthy of being in the top 250 greatest films ever made, possibly…., but Tremors, I rank it as the greatest B movie of all time and that counts for something, and yes, possibly an inclusion into the top 250 category, if only for what it represents.
And for those that don’t like Tremors, for whatever reason, as Valentine would say, “FUUUUUCK YOU!!!”

I kid I kid ; )

reply

darn it! Now I want to watch Tremors again!!! And interstellar! MOVIE NIGHT FOR ME

reply

LOL, sounds like a plan!

reply

Tremorstellar would be a good double feature.

I honestly prefer Tremors way more because it's a brisk 90 minutes that's paced very smoothly. Interstellar is too long tbh.

reply

yeah. I don't know. PERSONALLY, I really like it and all the tech and science and family and humans... I think it IS a great movie. And I enjoy Tremors also in a different way. :)

Everyone is allowed to enjoy different movies. The OP things it's fan boy voted, ok, whatever, most of us enjoyed it.

Yep. I forgot what their combined efforts goal was. To knock someone out of the top spot? but they kept the Nolan train rolling far too long. This movie is trash.

reply

So, if I like a movie it makes me a fanboy? If I happen to enjoy the work of Nolan I'm a fanboy?

Get bent

reply

No, but you don't acknowledge the movie's shortcomings!

There are so many movies which I love watching over and over again but have serious flaws in them. And, only after considering those flaws, I rate them appropriately; will never vote straight a 10/10 blindly just because I like it! I have a rational thinking.

Now, don't just come up with 'every movie have flaws' kind of stuff! This movie is downright lame at many parts; the idiotic impractical Robot design to 'Love transcends space & time'!

Its 6/10 at its best. For fans like you, a 7/10 max to be generous. But nowhere near great movies to fall in Top 100!

Yes, other people's opinions are totally wrong.
