Strangely, much better on rewatch

I saw this when it came out in the theater and only again today on Netflix.

I remember it being pretty bad when I first saw it and being disappointed. This time around I didn't think it was that bad. To be sure it has problems, but the cast isn't bad and most of the action scenes are pretty good.

It's far better than Genisys was.

I liked it.

It's actually not bad at all imo. I think people expected something much different thus the panned reviews. I think it is much better than T3 and TG.

That's hardly a ringing endorsement.

I never considered it to be a completely terrible movie... it just felt kinda empty to me when I first saw it. A real missed opportunity. That said, I thought it had some redeeming qualities (need to rewatch it again soon).

Genisys, for all its flaws, I found to be a more enjoyable and slightly interesting movie tbh. Its execution was undoubtedly poor, however I managed to appreciate it for what it was.

If it wasn't a Terminator movie i'd love it.

I never understood why it was widely considered to be so bad. There are some flaws but it’s a fun action movie, nothing more and nothing less. Better than T3.

And we got Bale as John Connor. This has been the best version of John Connor so far. Genesys gave us a putty face JC and T3 a weak ass was presented to us as the savior of post apocalypse humanity.

On the flipside again, we get the weakest Kyle Reese in this movie. No way this Kyle Reese comes back to the past to face the T800, bone Sarah Connor and father JC as a result.
