Is Spider-Man 2 (2004) the greatest comic book movie ever made?

It's tied with Batman '89 to me.

Not for me. I actually prefer the first Spider-Man film. I do like Spider-Man 2 a lot. It would probably rank around #10 for me. Which is not that bad considering how many superhero films have been made. Tobey Maguire is easily the best actor in the role. The CGI in Spider-Man 2 is very impressive, though. My favorite comic book movie is Superman the Movie.

Its better than Into the Spider-verse.

I think it is personally as well. This and Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Spider-Verse, Logan, The Dark Knight trilogy, Infinity War/Endgame all are great but in terms of a film that emotionally resonates with me it's most definitely this.

One of the best scenes in any superhero film ever. Also the train scene is still one of the best action sequences in a superhero film.

It's definitely one of the best, probably alongside Superman and Batman Returns.
