Finchers Best Film
it is
shareI notice something new about it every time I watch. Best and most thought-provoking film i've ever seen
shareI agree. I used to think Se7en was Fincher's number one work, but when time passed Fight Club seems to have more rewatch value.

Agreed on both fronts. Although I'm not sure I would go so far as to call it *the* most thought-provoking film I've ever seen, but it is certainly one of the most.

It's between this Seven and Zodiac imo.
shareI pr2efer Zodiac over Fight Club.
When FC came out it really piqued my interest and I enjoyed it's sardonic take on consumer culture gone wrong, but it hasn't aged well for me and the ending/reveal feels more like a cop-out to just get the story to end while offering no satisfying resolution. When I first watched the ending I laughed it off and got the "Fuck You" message of it all, but today it's like watching a 20 year old video of an Anarchist talking about resisting the NWO. Like I said, it just didn't age well.
fincher is one of the few directors that has managed to keep a high standard throughout the years. Mind Hunters is a perfect example of this.
shareI'd say tier one are:
- Fight Club
- Seven
- The Social Network
If I had to choose one, Social Network gets a slight nod.
