What real President would stay and fight

If this really happened, of all our modern presidents ( the guys who would actually have been on Air Force One) who do u think would stay to fight. Certainly not Obama or either Bush's. I doubt Clinton would fought to save Hilary. Nixon was a Quacker. Reagan was just a weasel. But to the Point I think LBJ would stay and fight. He was a Texas Man and he was huge. And maybe Ford. He was in the military and he was a football player and he was also pretty big. I think the two of them would have fuvked shiut up. What do u guys think.

I don't think it's that easy. Pro-gun or anti-gun is besides the point.

I think a president who had a mcGUyver mentality would stay and fight. Plus, just plain brave. and almost foolhardy. I can actually imagine John McCain doing this if he'd ever gotten to be president. I can totally see Obama at least trying. It's because he has a bit of foolhardiness in him.

I can't imagine anyone else so far.

Being a Quaker doesn't mean you can't ever fight; I believe in that situation Nixon would not be expected to just sit there and let it happen. I'm not sure however that he had the cajones.

Have to agree with the previous poster for Teddy Roosevelt. Thats's going back pretty far. Can't think of many modern Presidents who could have done that. Maybe LBJ. Kennedy was a legitimate war hero during WWII but his injuries from that incident would have made it difficult for him to go mano-a-mano with trained terrorists.

I second Andrew Jackson. Gimp or not, he was one badass MOFO! Of course, this was the era of unreliable, single shot, muzzleloading pistols. It also didn’t hurt, that his would be assassin, rode the short wagon to school :D

Reagan would have at least fought. Not sure how successful he'd be due to physical limitations but I think he'd fight.

A younger Reagan would have been a formidable opponent. In a documentary about his assassination attempt, the doctor's said he was one of the healthiest seventy year-olds they had worked on and one of the reasons he recovered so well.

he might have been healthy but Reagan was a weasel. He named, names during the McCarthy era and he sold weapons to Iranian terrorist. In short, he was bitch and a weasel. i don't see him fighting.

That's just it: in this case it makes it more credible, not less. The leftist media did indeed rarely have anything good to say about Republicans, yet here is the the L.A. Times, an arm of the leftist media, and even they are basically saying there's nothing to these allegations that Reagan was a "snitch" who betrayed friends and colleagues.

Putin would stay wasn't he KGB and a few eastern European presidents/prime ministers probably would but the west political leaders are mostly rich soft people who would be afraid of a one on one fist fight never mind taking on a dozen armed soldiers.
