Everyone has a different way of looking at a movie. Movies that connect with no-one are forgotten, and that's what I consider a terrible movie. But people are still watching and talking about "Showgirls". You don't see a huge cult growing around "It's Pat: The Movie", and "Cool As Ice" has yet to inspire a round table discussion in Film Quarterly. It's fine that you hate it, but there are a lot of people who find it fascinating and funny. Plus some people just watch it for the boobs.

Not to mention that such film likely couldn't be made today, without the entire cast and crew getting cancelled, within the first hour of the movie's release

I had fun while over there, and made lots of friends on TMDB. Regrettably, they've just got one moderator who's exceptionally Woke(just recently, he went to extraneous lengths in his efforts to "prove" that Picard is really a great show, and he was genuinely perplexed by the level of resistance he encountered from almost everyone), and a handful of members who also ascribe that that braindead ideology. The latter go out of their way to bombard the site's owners with complaints against anyone who challenges them on their bullshit, effectively badgering the rest of the moderators into suspending the account of anyone who they believe to be "problematic". TMDB won't hang around, unless they lay off the censoriousness
