McClane's Boss

Was his name Walter or Arthur?

reply

According to IMDB it's Arthur.

reply

Weird. I l always heard it as Walter. And I have been watching this since the original VHS trilogy came out in the late 90s.

reply

Doesn't the one female detective say, "But Walter, they don't allow trucks on the FDR!!!"

reply

I thought it was Walter too.

reply

It’s definitely Walter. Rare goof from iMDB there.

reply

The name I always heard was Walter, as well. Thanks, folks, I appreciate the responses.

reply

Just watched again for the umpteenth time and its deffo Walter Cobb, no idea where they got Arthur from!

reply

By any chance, do you know the name of that brave cop in the subway pointing the gun at Zeus?

reply

He was played by Scott Nicholson.

reply

I see he also played a cop in The Wolf of Wall St. It was the scene when police came to his place after their gay butler had a party and 20 grand was stolen from Jordan and he gave the officers a nice tip. That scene took place in the early 90s, so that means that Die Hard is set in the same universe. I wonder why in Die Hard 3, he was so nervous pointing the gun at Zeus in the subway, repeatedly saying "Get em up"?

reply

And when you look at his IMDB page, in his credits, he plays a cop many times.
