Boy did this show go on way to long ..

This once superb show in its last few years became an absolutely cringe inducing sycophantically terrible show to watch !!!

And that final episode ... WOW ... truly awful !!! All gathered round the radio booth near the end as Frasier signs off ( new born and all ) ... My God , just terrible !

Martin marrying that woman that looked about 30 years younger than him and the final shot of Frasier yet again looking to be falling for a woman way out of his league and yet again also to young for him !

Honestly what was it with this show pairing up( Martin especially ) with woman way to young for them !

It really was pretty unbearable to watch the last few seasons !

I loved the last season.
The actors for Ronnie and Martin were 10 years apart.
lol....online critics!

Might have been but Martin looked wayyy older in this show than Ronnie !

Sorry but to pair both them up looked ridiculous

I enjoyed the last seasons although I agree the show was past it’s heyday. There were still some classic episodes towards the end, though. I actually liked Martin and Ronee. Yes, there was an age difference but it was made clear that it wasn’t THAT great a gap - she looked, dressed and acted younger than she was, they had a connection from years earlier and I just thought that Wendie Malick added some spark to the show.

I wonder if the show’s writing and storyline changed after the death of writer David Angell (he died on 9/11,was in first plane to hit towers).

I think they kept on losing writers and for awhile that was okay but once Niles hooked up with Daphne it was a lot tougher to write for the show. As far as losing Angell I don't think the show went on much longer after he died and certainly he was missed deeply.
