better than godfather?

Yes. The Godfather is a good movie, but Goodfellas is better.

Absolutely. The Godfather is boring.

It's not even close to The Godfather 1 & 2.

It's better than The Godfather Part III, I'll allow it that.

But GF I & II are superior - and imo Once Upon a Time in America (the full cut) is better still.

Two different movies, altogether.

I love both movies and could (and have) happily watch either multiple times. Goodfellas is more viscerally exciting (it is one of the best directed movies I have ever seen) but I get more power and nuance from the The Godfather (and Part 2). If I were to describe how I felt about each movie to a stranger I suspect they would come away with the idea that I like The Godfather more, and ultimately I think that is probably true.

i watched this at least 3 times and i find it entertaining , The Godfather is boring compared to this , The Departed is also much better than The Godfather
