is the title referring to

hans gruber? he's the one who dies at the end.

reply

You should put spoiler alert in your heading if you're going to post that Han dies at the end

reply

i’m sorry that was inconsiderate

reply

Its ok. Just be more aware of any movie made after 1945, not to give away any spoilers

reply

He should be banned from the whole site.

reply

Thats a bit too harsh. I think he now understands the post 1945 spoiler alert policy on these boards

reply

Wait until you hear about all the plot holes.

reply

I don't even know what a plot hole is anymore. Everyone seems to have a different definition of it

reply

If only we could all agree on a definition for the term.

reply

For example, how can Hans not be able to recognize Mr Tagaki? If he was the CEO or whatever his high ranking job title was, surely his face would have been in some kind of Forbes or another financial publication. Especially since Hans knew so much about the Nagatomi corporation beforehand. Wouldn't you make sure you knew what he looked like before you took the office over?

reply

seems Hans wasnt as "exceptional" as he claimed

reply

Japanese all look the same... (sorry if this was a racist remark, but its from POV of the villain).

reply

That makes sense I guess

reply

"the bad guy dies at the end of an 80s action movie" really isn't a spoiler.

reply

Of course.
He dies and he is hard (you can see it in his protuding pants when he is falling).
Die Hard, quite self explanatory.

reply

exactly

reply

I always thought it was obvious:
It's referring to how hard it is for the terrorists to kill John McClane.

reply

You're talking to rateater who is specialized in stupid questions.
