Laurie and Annie were smoking a doob in Annie's car with the windows rolled up when they saw Annie's dad's squad car a half a block away. They threw the joint out the window and rolled up the window again. How is it that a trained police officer would not recognize the odor of combusted cannabis wafting from the car when they rolled down the window to speak to him?

shareThe funny thing is they didn't even have to drive up to him. Annie says, "It's my dad!!!" and she could've just turned down a different street or went a different direction. Instead, they'd rather throw out the joint and pull up next to him just to have a pointless conversation lol always found that funny. But, that did reveal the plot point of Michael stealing a mask, knives, and some rope.
