Ghost Town episode

Watched the Ghost Town episode.

Would people really do something like that? Find a ghost town that seems like nobody is there, and just say, "Let's camp here"?

How safe would that be? In the middle of nowhere unable to call for help (back then, since there were no cell phones)if anyone did threaten them - how do you know no fugitives are hiding out there?

reply

Who would really do something like that?
The fucking Brady Bunch!

reply

They probably didn't think Thurston Howell III was going to show up all mental.

reply

lmao!

What I find crazy about that episode is that some guy locks them up in a prison and he steals their camper and car and leaves them with NOTHING; no food and water then when he takes them out of prison and returns their car and camper and apologizes to them; Mrs Brady- "Well, I guess all is forgiven". I mean really!?!?

reply

lol I know right!?

I recently watched that episode and the idea that they just decide to camp in such a place puzzled me quite a bit. Would that have been allowed? It didn't seem like a very safe area to camp.

And then a VERY SIMILAR thing happens to them in the HAWAII episode!

All three boys end up getting tied up by Vincent Price, who is also then "all forgiven" and even gets invited to their luau the next day!

reply

Those Bradys sure are forgiving people!!

It's like the writers took the Grand Canyon script and rearranged it a bit for Hawaii.

Whole family gets imprisoned by Mr. Howell
Just the boys get imprisoned by Vincent Price

Bobby and Cindy run off at Grand Canyon
The boys all run off in Hawaii to return the Tiki

All is forgiven after the Ghost Town jailing
All is forgiven after the boys get tied up with "Oliver"

Nothing alike: no hula dancing in the Grand Canyon..
