Why are conservatives like Walsh so hostile to people who don't want children?

Walsh, Ben Shapiro, Paul Joseph Watson and others devote a good chunk of their air time to criticising and belittling people who don't want to have children. The fuck is that about? Are we supposed to magically will ourselves into wanting children? Or are we supposed to have children who aren't wanted?

Are these guys feeling a twinge of regret? No free time to pursue their intrigues anymore?

I believe if you don't want kids that's your right and your choice. I don't think you should be glamorize a lifestyle and trying to indoctrinate people to your ways because doing so is a dangerous and will bring about the demise of Western Civilization as we know it. I think that's where Matt Walsh and Ben Shapiro's views might come from.

Yes, those loud "DINK" people are tools. Some us, though, just don't want children and are quietly living our lives.

Walsh is right just about all of the time, but this is one area where I disagree with him. He says people who don't have kids are selfish. The reason I don't have kids isn't because I think they'd get in the way of my partying and having a good time. It's because I just have absolutely no interest in children. If I went ahead and made babies anyway, that would be selfish, because I would never really be emotionally involved. It would just be reproducing mindlessly, like a rabbit.

In college, I was forced to take a class in which various lifestyle choices were discussed. One topic was whether or not to have children. When asked why they did, the people who had them (all of whom said not having them is selfish) listed several reasons:

To carry on my name,
Because I like babies,
Because I like children,
To take care of me when I'm old,
So there will be someone to remember me,

All of which are selfish.

^ Agreed, Liscarkat.

Matt Walsh is usually spot on with his views, but this one has me scratching my head. He must have some subtext there, but I'm damned if I know what it is.

Still, he's a good man.

Please link to that topic. I've seen a bunch of their videos but haven't run across that yet

It's a response to 60s Feminism, which was about rejecting traditional female roles like motherhood.
Now we have things like quotas for women on corporate boards and elected office, which women simply are not interested in.
