She retracted her statement about Dr. Luke assaulting her

After a 7 year long legal battle, she decided to sign a settlement and made a statement denouncing her previous claims about Dr. Luke's inappropriate conduct towards her.

Shocking stuff.

reply

Gee.....

Due to zero evidence because the crime never happened.

This was expected from the start, since she was trying to break a contract.
False rape accusations REALLY NEED stronger penalties!

reply

Stronger, hell, at least charge them with something. The woman who admitted she lied about Brett Kavanaugh raping her because she didn't want him on the Supreme Court never got charged, much less convicted. Pretty fucked up.

reply

The woman who did the exact same tactic to Trump was awarded 85mil in Democrat rectum court. It’ll be turned over in appeals but still she’s pretty close.

reply

Yup.
Kesha denounced her claim.
Isn't that basically admitting she lied?? So, time to charge her with perjury or something???? Women get a pass?????? What the fuck, stupid ass world.

reply

I literally just cited an example where a woman got a pass. Sorry if facts upset you..

reply

ALL women must be believed, always!!!

the lone voice of reason enters the chat,
thank you!

Haa

reply

She is probably going to try and get her singing career started again.

reply

That ship has sailed.

reply

Is there a link to it or something? I don't see any fresh news about Kesha when I google your claims. Did you made that up?

reply

Hahah good point. I don't care enough to look into it.
The net over flies with fiction.

I was curious and actually went for link. Who knows maybe I missed something. But nothing new pops up. Some info about them settling like 8 months ago or something. But there was nothing about "made a statement denouncing her previous claims".

This is from June 2023. This is what OP probably talking about.

"Only God knows what happened that night. As I have always said, I cannot recount everything that happened," wrote Kesha, 36. "I am looking forward to closing the door on this chapter of my life and beginning a new one. I wish nothing but peace to all parties involved."

Kesha first sued Dr. Luke in 2014 for sexual emotional and physical abuse, alleging that he drugged and sexually assaulted her in 2005. He denied the claims and filed a countersuit the same year. In 2016, Kesha's claims were dismissed by a judge.

"While I appreciate Kesha again acknowledging that she cannot recount what happened that night in 2005, I am absolutely certain that nothing happened," wrote Dr. Luke in his statement.

Dr. Luke's defamation lawsuit against Kesha was set to go to trial next month. Last week, the New York Court of Appeals reportedly ruled that the Grammy-nominated producer meets the qualifications of a public figure. The ruling meant that Dr. Luke would have to "prove the allegedly defamatory statements were made with ‘actual malice,'" the court wrote, per Variety.

In 2016, Kesha said via Instagram that she turned down an alleged offer to retract her rape allegation against the producer in exchange for her "freedom."

“So. I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got r*ped,” she claimed at the time.

“THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors,” Kesha continued. “I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again.”

I was offline at the time but yeah, she made a statement on instagram.

What I get is that she accused him but could no prove anything and it was his words against hers. When court would not convict him on her words and he sued back - they told her to say she made that up to make it all go away. And they would release her from her contract. She refused.

He kept suing and company kept pressuring her to retract. Eventually many years later she was like: "Only God knows what happened here". And they released her from her contract or something. And he denied it again.

Kesha is finally free after splitting from Dr Luke’s label

Now, however, Kesha can hopefully put the whole saga all behind her. According to a report by Variety, the singer has parted ways from producer Dr Luke’s record label, Kemosabe Records.

A source told Variety that Kesha’s contract with Dr Luke came to an end in December. The news follows the release of her album Gag Order in May, which was the last album she was contracted to release with Kemosabe Records under her five-album deal with the label. The source also revealed that Kesha has parted from her management company Vector Management.

The conclusion of the singer’s contract with Kemosabe Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music’s RCA Records, comes after both Kesha and Dr Luke agreed to settle their lengthy legal battle earlier this year.

The legal issues began in 2014 after Kesha accused Gottwald of drugging and sexually assaulting her one night in 2005. Gottwald, who denied the allegations, then sued Kesha for defamation, while also alleging that her accusations were because she wanted to part ways with Kemosabe Records. Kesha denied these claims, releasing three albums with Kemosabe Records during the legal proceedings.

On June 22, 2023, both Kesha and Gottwald shared statements acknowledging that they had reached a settlement in their legal dispute.

And there are no viable leads.
