Not at all Jealous of Meghan

Another poster on here claims that Catherine was jealous of all the fame Meghan Markle was getting.

Um....here's the thing. Kate has everything Meghan could want, and then some. She is not the jealous type, and Meghan pretty much has nothing Kate could possibly want. I'll provide some examples:

Catherine:

- is married to the love of her life
- is married to a possible future King of England, and she will be Queen
- is married to a very kind, intelligent, hard-working, mature man
- has 3 children that she loves
- has long-time friends she cares about
- has a stable job that she loves
- has a home that she enjoys living in
- is very wealthy, but doesn't flaunt it or spend like a drunken sailor

Meghan:
- is married to a guy she doesn't love, and is using as a quick ticket to fame in Hollywood (and it's not really working)
- is married to "the spare" prince, who is 6th in line to the throne, and will never be king, ever
- is married to the dumber of the two princes, who has never worked a real job in his life, and is completely out of his element when outside England or the Commonwealth
- has a son she didn't even carry herself, but she faked being pregnant with him and lied about his age, and will eventually use him as a bargaining chip in the future divorce
- doesn't interact with her son hardly at all because she hates kids (she lets the nannies do all the work of a mom)
- is not as rich as she would like, has had to live off of her father-in-law's money while spending what she has like a drunken sailor on high-priced mansions, not-so-great clothes, and at least 3 PR firms
- got her plans of marketing her royal status shot down by the Queen
- claimed she was going to "modernize" the British monarchy (AKA, boss them around and essentially be running the place within a year), which was so badly thwarted by smarter, older royals that it's laughable now
- hasn't hardly made it anywhere in Hollywood (and I doubt she would have really made it, even without the virus lock-downs and halting of movie projects)
- is alienated from both sides of her birth family and her royal in-laws
- has no real friends beyond people she's using to get ahead
- has made a career out of suing people, despite it hurting her reputation and finances
- had a very lackluster career in acting that hasn't really paid off (due to her sucking at it and being a horrible person)
- is a very weak, insecure narcissist who desperately needs attention and will do anything to get it, including alerting the paparazzi as to what she's doing and then pretend to be one of their victims

Remind me again what Catherine has to be jealous about?

I will tell you this: it is Meghan who is bitterly jealous of Kate, not the other way around. Meghan will never be queen of anything, and will soon be forgotten, whereas people are gonna remember the Duchess of Cambridge for years to come, even after she grows old and passes on.

Very well said, I like it a lot. I must say though it’s pretty crazy what you said about her faking the pregnancy etc, shocking.

Why I like Catherine more

There's plenty of photographic and video evidence that she faked it, and it's suggested that she got advice from Amal Clooney, who did the same thing.

It's one thing to have a surrogate carry your baby if you feel you can't do it yourself, whether due to age, or the way you are built. There's nothing wrong with that. Plenty of women in the world might need help with that, and there are plenty of women who are happy to carry the baby for another mom, and are paid handsomely for it. Many dwarf women have been able to have children safely because they had a normal-sized surrogate mom carry their kids.

The trouble is, Meghan lied about it, and ran around with fake bellies under her maternity clothes, making a big show of being a mom-to-be. It also appears she wasn't wearing the "moon bellies" as they were called, properly. I have no doubt Archie was conceived using her egg cells and Harry's sperm in a lab, but there was no reason to lie about it or be all secretive.

I'm not a royal follower but I think it is pretty obvious Catherine is a class act and genuine.

Megs on the other hand, well, I still don't understand what he sees in her. Perhaps he was on the rebound or is one of these people who just have to get married and she was more than willing to oblige and use him. She is just a manipulative social climber who isn't very good at being social.

It wouldn't surprise me if she meets the same fate as Diana if she starts causing too many problems with divorce settlements in the future. At least people like Diana, Megs doesn't have anyone on her side. Except Prince Cucky.

I actually heard some interesting things about hers and Harry's relationship.

See, he had dated 2 nice blond girls, including one named Chelsea, who lived in South Africa, whom he considered the love of his life. But both girls turned him down because they didn't want to live in the royal fishbowl. I'm actually wondering why Harry didn't do himself a favor, step down from being a working royal then, and go off with Chelsea to marry and live a quiet life doing charity work in Africa. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, being out of the spotlight.

So by the time he was in Canada, he was still searching for a wife, and lo and behold, this exotic, sexy brunette shows up and seems like the best thing to happen to him in a long time.

But here's the thing: I only learned recently that they broke up after a short time of dating, and she actually chased him! She crashed an exclusive sporting event to try to get near him and had to be escorted out, and then, she actually followed him to Jamaica, where he was attending the wedding of a friend; a wedding she wasn't invited to. There are even photos of this event! If you take a look, Harry looks very surprised in the first photos where she shows up, kissing him and acting like they're still together, and then, sometime later, she's sitting at a table with him, and he has this look like "Why the hell am I allowing her to be here? This is so embarrassing!" There are also photos of her yelling at a waiter for bringing her a drink she didn't like, and when she did finally have her drink, she was staring daggers at another woman Harry was talking to, and they're totally oblivious to it.

According to the timeline, just two days later, they were back together and he took her to Botswana. Right afterwards, they announced their engagement. It makes you wonder what happened during that wedding party that would make Harry suddenly so eager to get back together with Meghan. Is it possible she pulled off the oldest trick in the book? Some have suggested that she blackmailed Harry into marrying her by pretending to have gotten pregnant, and then conveniently "losing" the baby after the wedding.

Then I guess, after she dumps Harry, she better not get involved with any Middle-Eastern movie producers or ride around in taxis in Paris. I hear doing both things are bad for one's health.

Kate is second overall in British Popularity polls whilst Meghan is way down the list. I wouldn’t be surprised if it were the same in polls from other countries too.

Kate is well loved and admired in the UK, even from a lot of us who aren’t staunch Royalists, many of us see her as a good addition to the Firm, who carries on with her Royal duties as a Princess should, without acting a diva or turning her husband into an embarrassing cuck.

I cannot see how or why Kate would be furious or jealous, she by the looks of it is in a very happy marriage with the man she fell in love years ago, and the only drawback is having to go to the occasional Aston Villa game!

Her fame is lower than Meghan, but that’s only for the time being, she’ll eventually be Queen, and I don’t think fame mattes to her at all, it obvious she married for love.

But that's what so nice about Catherine; she doesn't seek fame, she lets it come to her. Simply being who she is, married to William, the possible future Queen of England, and her charities is what people love about her. She has never needed attention from the paparazzi, she never has to wear anything outrageous or ill-fitting, she never has to pull stunts, she doesn't have to do any of the things Meghan did to get press attention. In fact, the only reason people still even remember Meghan's name is because she has a PR firm that cranks out news about her almost every day to keep her relevant. Catherine never needed something like that for people to always remember her.

reply

Yeah, she’s always come across as pretty sincere, well dressed and classy, I remember when Kate and William had a short break up in 2007, some of the tabloid press made snide digs her, yet Kate acted like a dignified lady and kept her silence despite her young years.

I can imagine how differently that would have been if it were a young Meghan having a short break from a twentysomething Prince Harry, Meghan would’ve sold her story to the tabloids within a week and brokered a deal to make a TV movie out of her affair! 🙄

reply

What's really dumb is, when Harry was dating Meghan and getting serious about their relationship, William took him aside at one point and warned him not to rush into things, especially with this girl. The phrase "this girl," triggered him, making him angry. That's part of what started the rift between these two brothers, who had been close since childhood, particularly after their mother died.

I'm guessing by then, Meghan had manipulated Harry enough to get him totally wrapped around her finger, as well as thinking along the same lines as she did about race relations.

I'm wondering how different things would have been if there hadn't been any such thing as the Soho House; the international club where snooty rich folks rub elbows. If it hadn't been for Meghan making friends with Marcus Anderson, a man with many connections through the Soho House, she would have never met Harry.

reply

If they hadn’t met, Harry would still be supporting war veterans, Invictus Games and other Charites he shared with his brother and Kate, he’d still be high in popularity polls, and have a cheeky yet confident air about him when doing interviews.

I saw their latest video, just moments ago, it’s unnerving how Meghan speaks first every time, he looks downbeat and as if he’s speaking for her approval, always trying his upmost not to say anything she’d pick up on later. The change in the guy has been so drastic.

A body language expert took note of their clasped, inter-laced fingers, and Meghan's crossed legs and not clinging to Harry. The inter-laced fingers indicates frustration, hostility, self-restraint and other negative thoughts, her crossed legs means she's completely closed up and not engaging, trying to protect herself, and has them pointing away from the person she dislikes, in this case, Harry; and the fact that she's not touching his back or clinging to him indicates that she no longer needs to publicly assert control over him like she did in England or Canada. He's on her home turf and completely in her web.

It worries a lot of people, his family most of all, as to what's happened to him. In the latest photos and videos he looks ragged with empty eyes, like he hasn't gotten a lot of sleep. I can't confirm that he's been taking drugs, but he did tell one of his relatives that he's been drinking more since they moved to California. There have been rumors of Meg making him get hair treatments for his bald spot, but to be honest, I can't tell if that's true or not. It looks like she's mostly been neglecting him, and he's been neglecting himself, particularly in his appearance.

I have a feeling that when the divorce happens, and he goes back to England, he's not only gonna need a lot of therapy, he's gonna realize he was better off without Meghan, even if part of him still cares for her after the divorce.

Very well said, I enjoyed reading and agree with your every word. And the divorce WILL happen, it’s been a sure thing since these two got together. Watch this space!

There's an area on Quora called "The Markles" that keeps a close eye on what's going on with them.

None of that matters given that Meghan is more popular and is overall more interesting to people. Kate is incredibly boring and typical. She has no IT factor (which Meghan has) and feels like a made by the numbers princess with not a single distinctive quality to her. Hell even Pippa Middleton her sister completely overshadowed her during her very wedding. That's how boring Kate is. Sure, she will be Queen next, big deal...still has no personality...a crown won't fix that.

I wonder if it would be possible for you to go one day without putting down a woman.

Yes, sad, but true. I feel sorry for Harry, and I am saddened by what I read about him. Growing up, Diana coddled him, and often would have him stay home from school to keep her company (mostly due to being lonely at having a crappy royal husband), and this affected his grades over time. Often the schools had to bend over backwards for him in order for him to pass some levels. They would never do such a thing for any other student, but because of Harry's family, he was able to graduate from the schools he attended, despite not actually having the grades for it.

While Harry loved serving in the military, other soldiers disliked having him go out on patrols in Afghanistan because he had to keep bodyguards, and often the soldiers couldn't do their jobs because they were trying to do that and make sure Harry didn't get put in mortal danger. They were relieved when he was finally called home to England. I sincerely doubt the Invictus Games was his idea. Harry often didn't know what to do with himself unless someone was telling him what to do (hence why he did so well with military life).

I partially blame his desperation for a wife, and ignorance of how malignant narcissists operate in allowing himself to get caught in Meghan's web. If he knew what was good for him, he'd wait until Meghan was out of the house, take Archie, and just leave. Go back to England, never return, and if she demands her bargaining chip---I mean son back, the royal family can sic their lawyers on her.

Meghan has made him more relevant that he would have ever been.
