Let's look at this this way, the man has done nothing to make me admire him, whether it be his personality or what he stands for. The only role I know him for is a secondary part in one of the few Adam Sandler movies I can tolerate.

He looks like just another Hollywood drone who went off the deep end and decided to get attention by throwing bones to those of us on the Right when the Left stopped listening to him. We know phonies when we see them, and I have no sympathy for him or the attention-seeking whore pawns that are being used by the Powers That Be to silence him. There are far better men out there that have suffered worse than him.

You also provided nothing to prove that he isn't a legit ex-leftist. People change their minds, you know, it happens. Some 10 years ago I was not remotely as conservative as I am today... am I just a pretender as well because it fits your imagination better?

And yes, these days, people who do dare to seriously speak out against "them" is most likely an ex-lefty or maybe has never been one, but neither of that matters. Brand’s anti-leftist “political-preaching” does not make him an ex-leftist or a right-winger.

There are different extremes/positions of the left including: “Moderate-left”, “Centre-left”, “Far-left”, Classical-liberal (leftist), etc…..Bill Maher is a good example of that last one who has been speaking strongly against “wokeness” but he is still a leftist-liberal.

I have seen leftists that hate and despise everything that is woke and from the cultural-left but still identified as leftists. These leftists are considered and labeled as “right-wing” by the far-left groups.

I have the strong feeling you're not really familiar with who he is and what his viewpoints are, because you just mentioned him being an actor... but that's not why leftists are after him now. Today's leftists rarely talk about the economy, first because they do not understand it and second because they do not care about it aside from buzz words expressing how anti-capitalist they are... while they run to Starbucks every day, eat at the popular fast food chains and post their vile thoughts and ideas from their iPhones.
All they do care about are pronouns, an infinite amount of absurd and made up fantasy genders and the indoctrination of children as early as possible to groom the next generation of confused identity zombies. Other talking points are usually about "the patriarchy" and "racist police" and similar fever dream fantasies of a lost generation.
