Does anyone know if filming has already started? If not, I wonder if she'll be recast given all the things about her that have surfaced online. Who would you recast her with? I'd go with Ana de Armas, that way you keep the work diversity angle but actually get a good actress and human being.

Some bozos ran a hate campaign against her and tried to rile up anger in her direction. What did she say that is so bad? She's pro-trans rights? Disney are on her side. That she talked down the original movie? Hardly the crime of the century. I'm sure Disney would rather their leads be beloved by all and that their casts would praise their movie catalogue but big whoop.
Some people are talking like she's the devil. She hasn't done anything wrong except for make some silly inoffensive little comments here and there. She thinks the original Snow White is dated? Oh no!
In any case as far as I know filming is already finished and the movie is in post-production. I'm sure they'll just recast her and start over again to appease some right wingers online who hate their new lead because she's 'woke'.

im pretty far on the left and i think she is an annoying turd. what was wrong with the original? oh my god she loved someone????? and the man loved her back?? DISGUSTING!!! SNow white in the original was a great leader. she turned 7 men who hated her basically into respecting and admiring and caring for her by leading by example and showing what a good person she was and becoming the leader of the group. but she isnt a "girl boss i dont need no man" so its offensive.
