I've never watched a single episode of the A-Team but it had such a profile, I had to be aware of it, especially Mr T. (Peppard I had seen before.)
But just the other day I saw a commercial for A-Team and suddenly thought -- No way !
That guy who was in a few ST:Next Gen episodes. The nervous guy, a really unpleasant, thankless role. Poor guy probably got typecast and never worked again.
And he was on the A-Team !?! Whoa, I never woulda thunk it ! Good for him.
I never watched the A Team when it was on but I knew he had been on that show before TNG. I think his character on the A Team was supposed to be eccentric. I think he might have been referred to as the clown?
shareHe was the pilot who was and/or acted crazy. In a average episode, the team would have to break him out of a mental hospital when accepting a mission.
His character "Murdock" also provided comic relief because his interactions with Mr.T were often hilarious.
A show that sticks my mind had him in a prison cell and he acted crazy constantly yelling "I Need Tra- ash-Bags!" for days on end. The guards relented, giving him the bags, of course the garbage bags were used as balloons for a most implausible escape.
He and Mr. T would crack me up.
