My problem

He only served 15 months (and it wasn't even in a prison). He's also never been truly honest about the things he's done (even flat-out lied at points).

I'm amazed he was able to get to do movies afterward. What producer or production company would want to have that kind of person selling their work?

reply

Those run by Joe Biden fans (but, heck, what studio ISN'T?😉 )

reply

In The Devil's Guide to Hollywood, Joe Eszterhas said: "It doesn't matter if you are a convicted child molester, all that matters is that someone who reads your script believes that money can be made making it into a movie."

reply

Absolutely.

Then why do yuu keep producing the woke crap littering entertainment now?

Sadly, Roman Polanski has had a long and fruitful career. When he was detained in 2009 for attending a Film Festival (I do not remember the country) so many people signed a petition to asking the country not to extradite him. It was sickening. This was a man that drugged and raped a 13 year old girl and then fled the country to avoid prison time. Now people are starting to question it due to MeToo Movement. It was wrong then and it is wrong now. Every person who supported him or signed the petition should be held accountable.

reply

Scorsese signed that petition and I lost so much respect for him. I know Natalie Portman signed it and later regretted it. I'm not sure if she came around or if she was bullied to change her mind.

reply

Yeah, I lost a lot of respect for so many people on the list Scorcese, Del Toro, Milius, Mann. I did not have a lot of respect for Portman but lost all of it after I saw she signed the petition. Since she was such a supporter of MeToo. My problem is when reporters asked her about it her response was that “it was a different time” when she signed it. No. Child rape was wrong then just likes it’s wrong now. It was never right.

reply

It shouldn't come as a surprise that a child molester would not be totally honest about what he's done, lol.
