Says she’s not talking about her body anymore during auditions

She says she’s tired of having conversations with filmmakers wanting her to lose weight for roles and that she tried not to “shame” them for it.

Shame them? Filmmakers want actors to play specific characters and that includes how they look physically.

If the actress wants the role, they can lose the weight. If not, move on.

But don’t gripe about it or “shame” the filmmaker for what they want.

Howard said the director of her latest movie, “Argylle,” Matthew Vaughn, hired her for her acting and not her weight which she commended.

Guess she doesn’t realize he hired her because she’s overweight and dumpy looking since that’s the role she’s playing.

He also cast the fit and gorgeous Dua Lipa to play her role. See how that works?

Because she was playing a character where it didn't matter.

Anyway, thinner or heavier, I find her very attractive. But to the not too overweight side is always better.

Always.

FALSE.

SHOULDN'T YOU BE DOING HOMEWORK OR SOMETHING?

NOBODY EVER ASKED JOHN GOODMAN TO LOSE WEIGHT FOR A ROLE...SOME ACTORS TRANSFORM PHYSICALLY FOR ROLES....MOST DO NOT...BRYCE IS BRYCE...YOU HIRE BRYCE TO PLAY ROLES THAT RESEMBLE BRYCE.

reply

Nobody asked Goodman to play an action hero, superhero, or hot female love interest.

He also didn’t bitch about producers asking him to lose weight.

Then, BTW, he finally lost weight a few years ago so his heart wouldn’t explode.

If Howard wants to play dumpy characters, go for it. Just don’t whine or “shame” producers not looking for dumpy.

YOU SEE EVERYTHING ASS BACKWARDS....YOU KNOW THAT,RIGHT?

It’s the only way you can understand things.

THAT MAKES NO SENSE.🤷🏾‍♀️

See?

I guess this is probably just me but I don't understand the attraction.

The village was a terrible movie and she did what she could with the bad writing.

In Black mirror, she was really good and I like how you could see her intentions behind the facade. It was good acting.

Jurassic world movies are pretty stupid and her character didn't work after the first movie. The first movie was good and she looked nice. The others sucked due to bad writing.

As for her looks, she's fine. Not my type. Her husband seems happy with her so it doesn't matter what any of us really think. If she can perform as well as she did in Black Mirror, I'm sure she won't need to be focused on the "Hollywood Body" to provide a good performance.

reply

Hasn't she been saying this for some time now, but continues to talk about her not talking about it?

reply

IN AN INTERVIEW AFTER BEING ASKED.

reply

Right, I understand, but I feel like it is always a topic of conversation surrounding her. At what point does she say, no comment?

And actually, in the article quoted it sounds like she brings it up. What questions were asked? We don't even know as it is just a bunch of quotes. She also says don't cast me if you want me lighter, no problem being straightforward and that makes sense, and then the director is like yeah I don't care, just need you to act.

YIKES

I think she has a gorgeous body and a fine ass

Totally agree!
