I'm willing to bet your reservation is some standing on the sidelines criticism-for-the-sake-of-it ,such as most opposition political parties spend most of their time doing, along the lines of
"ooh well it hasnt had the standard 5 year clinical trials"

The power of determining what goes into her body. She is turning it over to some authoritarian regime that may or may not have her best interests at heart. Keep in mind there is very little data on the short term effects of these drugs, and no data on the long-term effects. Why should she inject that into her body for a virus that she is almost certain to survive as long as she is under 80years of age?
Answers to what I glean may be the crux of the rest of your argument
I follow global politics astutely, and have watched the rise of what could be called the globalist authoritarians. What I have gathered from watching them is they do not seem to have the best interests of those they serve at heart, but what they care about most is acquisition of power for their vision of a global government (instead of a series of independent nation-states). To accomplish this, they have to erode the cohesion of nation-states in order to break them down so they will more easily cede to a global government. Because of this, I DO NOT TRUST THEM. and I scrutinize everything they do, particularly when they try and push these things through with an iron-fist, like they are with these covid related policies.
Have you asked yourself why we even need a vaccine (that by the way isn't 100% effective and is short lasting) for a virus that 99.9% of people survive and virtually everyone under the age of 60 does? This isn't like the Spanish Flu, which was far more deadly and which hit children the hardest. So why are they rushing these unproven vaccines out and demanding we *all* take them? I don't have a clear answer to that question yet, but I invite you to ponder it as well - Why? After that, ponder the question "why do i place so much blind faith in these organizations and do they really have my best interests at heart?"
Yep - I'm still trying to figure out the vaccine push as well. I should also point out that while most people agree with the initial global panic - it's makes no sense for every government out there to insist on shutdowns/vaccines now that we know this is not the black plague type of situation. Some say this is because all governments are full of idiots - I do not believe that all governments can become this idiotic all in one go. We've had all sort of situations in the history of humanity, but at no point did they all work as one unit, when imposing something as illogical as what we are seeing now - that suggests a collusion on grand scale.
I'm noticing that this vaccine is being pushed out for people above the age of 18 - not below, so around 70% of the population.
There are several theories out there. One is population control. Have there been any tests on what these vaccines do to reproductive systems? Is anyone even bothered with that? There is a good reason why vaccines are usually tested for a long time prior to being approved for the general public. The mainstream media is only reporting of how dangerous this virus is, how the next strain will be by far deadlier than the last (bullshit), how vaccines is the only answer. In Canada, mainstream media is not reporting of the protests against the shutdowns. We are basically seeing the government narrative being reported and no actual journalism, other than a few alternative media outlets where journalism still survives (rebel news, for example).
As things stand, this could be a kinder form of culling of the population - make everyone above the age of 18 sterile. This would shrink our population by quite a bit. We'll know a bit more in a few years. So, hold off getting the vaccine until then? The problem is, there are already signs out there that if you do not accept this vaccine, you won't be able to work - the vaccine is reported as being optional, but in practical terms, it is being forced.
Bill Gates always has an angle. That's just the way these people are. They have a talent that when it gets to a certain place in our economy and government is toxic and cancerous. M$ Windows was stolen and leveraged to hold back the computer industry. I've been working here in Silicon Valley since the 80's and all this stuff that I had great hopes for has been corrupted and put under control to watch and control all of us. Gates is part of that, and if he was not he would come out like Ed Snowden and tell us the dangers of what is going on. This level of wealth and power is a danger to all of us and the world.
