Yes, the singer of 'Mickey' was hanging out with Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper 13 years before her mega-hit.

She's Mary in this clip. The other woman is Karen Black.

She's a lot older than I thought. I always assumed she was real young when she sang 'Mickey.' Wow! Apparently not.

I remember that song/video coming out. I thought she was hot as hell. I certainly never realised she was pushing 40 at the time. Fantastic.
