SCOTUS serves for life and it's very difficult to remove them unless they croak. That's something to think about as well.
Then there are members of congress and the senate but they have to get re-elected
Biden is the same age as Paul and has as much energy. Donald is a little "younger", but is morbidly obese with Covid. It's up to the Ameican people to figure out which is healthier.

shareIn politics, you can't please everyone. If the Democrats did run a candidate in their 40s, the Republicans would shoot back that they are inexperienced. Heck, during their second debate in 1984, Ronald Reagan implied Walter Mondale (who was 56 years old) was young and inexperienced.

Old people don't understand the modern world. That's why they are always ranting about young people and talking about how good were the good all days, when segregation was legal and the familia was "traditional". I can see why people like you would feel represented by them, though.
