Lucky actors.

Oscar winner Anne Hathaway recalled that earlier in her career she would sometimes have to kiss up to 10 men who were auditioning to work opposite her in a movie.

She said, “I was so young and terribly aware how easy it was to lose everything by being labeled ‘difficult,’ so I just pretended I was excited and got on with it.”

She probably feels the same about sex with her husband. 😄

You’d think that would be a closed set. If that happened to an actress in 2000 they would be milking the story for all it’s worth now.

I don't believe it. And she didn't say: "Kiss". That's something that authors of the article made up.

She said: "“Back in the 2000s—and this did happen to me—it was considered normal to ask an actor to make out with other actors to test for chemistry”.

And celebrities should really stop using those words : "make out". Because it has many meanings.

Britney Spears used it to describe what she had with Wade Robson. Saying they "made out" one day in some bar or whatever. Making it look like they just kissed or hang out. When in reality they had a few weeks or months affair and slept.

In this case she probably means they had to joke, hold hands and be flirty. Not that she was forced to kiss all 10 actors.

She really had to clarify what exactly she was doing.

Yeah. Sure..... That's what people often mean when they say they were making out. Other than they times that they use it euphemistically to avoid admitting to a sexual relationship, they also use it falsely to make acting flirty sound like actually kissing. That happens a lot....

They really must stop using it. And describe what it was.

Britney totally used it to pretend they were "kissing one time whey they were dizzy. No big deal". That's what it sounded like in her book. Instead of admitting she cheated on Justin and slept with Wade, numerous times.

She kinda admitted there was "something". Because everyone knows there was. But avoided admitting sleeping. Pretending they "kissed in a bar and then went home. And Justin made a scandal about it". That's what you would think, not knowing there full blown affair.

Here Anne was probably forced to act flirty with actors. Maybe like 5-6. But worded it to make it sound she was forced to kiss 10 guys. And this is not happening in auditions and casting directors basically called her out on lying.

Media should pressure her so clarify if she was forced to kiss or just acting flirty.

So because Britney couldn't bring herself to state explicitly that she had a sexual relationship, in an autobiography, you're assuming that when Anne Hathaway is lying about making out, and never kissed anyone in an audition. Because "they" keep using it that way.

So your logic is non-existent and your paranoia about what "they" do is rampant.

LOL. You clearly didn't understand the talking point. It's about that fact that people using "make out" for different purposes. Which leads to confusion.

Britney used that to avoid saying she was cheating to Justin with Robson. Anne used to to say they forced her to be flirty with co-stars during audition. Which prompted press and some people to think she said they forced her to kiss 10 dudes.

Casting directors already debunked it. Saying there is not such practice to force actors to kiss 10 people at auditions.

You've used one anecdote about one woman using it as an understatement to assume that girls say making out when they actually don't even mean kissing.
