Favorite Price film?

I gotta go with The Pit and the Pendulum.

I’m watching The Bat right now, for the first time since it was in theaters. I am struck by hue much more class and manners the US had back then, and Vincent fit right in. I’m going to be bad and suggest that he is an actor where every film he was is your fave film that he was in, like Ed Harris or maybe Audrey Hepburn or Clint Eastwood. There are some rare personalities who MAKE the film. Like Otter said, this guy could make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Unlike Eastwood or Hepburn, he could work his magic in the netherworld of the macabre, giving horror charm, seducing the audience; and that is freaking hard to do. Face Price film? Put his together with a story by E.A. Poe, and stand back.

I think I have to go with Masque of the Red Death. Certainly not his best, but there is just something about it.

I also really like
Laura
The Witchfinder General
The Pit and the Pendulum
The Fly
Edward Scissorhands

and not a film but I loved his narration in The Hilarious House of Frightenstein

A tough choice. The Masque of the Red Death was good.
