You are right - she was SMOKING hot in Dick Van Dyke.

I thought she looked good in the first year or 2 of TMT show. Then it seems like she tried to become plain Jane on purpose for some reason.

I don't agree with you. I thought she was still smoking hot in the '70's during the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Toward the end of its run (1975 or '76) she was in an episode in which she had to wear a green 'gown,' that was really a bikini. She looked absolutely fantastic in it, and she would have been 38-39 at the time. She did not always have the best hairdo during the MTM Show, but in that episode, her hair, face, and figure looked terrific.
