Gone too soon.

reply

Really? I'm sad he's gone too, but he did beat the life expectancy for U.S. men by 12 and a half years:

Life expectancy remains steady in United States

In 2015 the life expectancy in United States remains unchanged in 78.74 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 81.2 years and for men 76.4 years.

Sad. I liked him in Mission Impossible.

He's dead Jim.

One of my favorite movies is Crimes and Misdemeanors.
Nice to see Landau starring in a genuinely well-made and interesting film with other notable actors.

For a few years in the late 80s/early 90s, Landau was arguably THE American character actor. It was quite the career renaissance for an actor whose long-ago heyday seemed to have been a supporting heavy in a Hitchcock movie and couple of TV shows in the sixties. His performances in Crimes & Misdemeanours and Ed Wood are among the greatest of that era. A wonderful actor.
