Her career was over right then and there. Idk why she actually thought that was a good choice. Didn't she leave Buffy to take better roles?

The director of Scooby Doo insisted on a real life couple to play Fred & Daphne. I don't think they got many takers. It was a package deal and her & Freddie were the best fit.
