Quentin Tarantino No Longer Making ‘The Movie Critic’ as Final Film
share
I was skeptical he was ever going to make this cause it sounded like a real movie, something like Scorsese would make. Just not his style. If he actually has a script for it, he just produce it and hand it off to another director.
shareI have a feeling he wasn't feeling his screenplay enough to get it made and decided to back off because it didn't meet his standards.
shareHe released much of the movie in book form all ready !
shareDid he? I heard he only released a novel for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
shareThere's a book from that movie actually written by QT? I have to read that. Can't believe I'm first learning of this.
shareIt's in the article above:
Tarantino is expected to continue working in the creative fields even after he makes one last feature. He has suggested directing limited series or plays could be in his future. He is also now a novelist, publishing a novelization of Hollywood in 2021.share
I didn't actually like the movie that much. I'm hoping the book changes my mind.
shareWell, this is fine.
So, does it mean he's done?
I had read he was going to do a Kill Bill sequel starring Uma and her real life daughter, Maya Hawke.
This I thought was interesting. Bill dies in part 2, so no worries that David Carradine is no longer alive.
Is "Kill Bill 3" a goner, too?
Or maybe QT goes back to it now that he has abandoned "The Movie Critic".
I hope he does. It seems there are many interesting possibilities with a "Kill Bill 3".
I don't think he's ever doing Kill Bill 3. He was interested at one point, but it never got far.
