🌟 🎥MovieChat MovieClub Event: Friday/Saturday Features #52 🌟 🍿

Happy 1 year anniversary to the MovieChat MovieClub! 🎊
To celebrate this accomplishment, we will finish a glorious and epic franchise that became a MCMC classic. Then we’ll watch a romcom to celebrate diversity. Saturday we’ll start with a Tcrum special followed by a movie I know for a fact sslssg loves.

Thanks to all that make this club possible.

Cheers guys

*Fun fact: My wife and I also celebrate our 10 year anniversary this weekend!

This Movie Party will allow two things to happen:

-people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.

SIGNED, MILLION MAN

reply

Yeah, I couldn’t understand you either. Hopefully we are gremlin-free tonight👍

reply

I'll say one thing about 'Fall Guy' - its made me appreciate Gosling more. I've always gotten this uncanny valley creepy vibe from him, but Fall Guy kind of changed that somehow.

reply

I REALLY LIKED HIM IN DRIVE.

reply

Ugh...I thought he failed hard in that movie but I know that opinion is not the popular one.

reply

WOW...OPINIONS ARE SO WEIRD...I DIG DRIVE...FIRST MOVIE I SAW GOSLING AS A LEADING MAN...ALBERT BROOKS WAS BADASS TOO.

reply

Yeah I like the film overall, and Albert Brooks and Perlman were great in it.

Goslings character needed someone like a younger Chow Yun Fat or Clint Eastwood.

reply

I also have a rare taste:

Drive: 6/10

Only God forgives: 8/10

reply

I haven't seen Only God Forgives. I should probably get around to watching it now that I've given Gosling a second chance lol.

reply

I HAVE WATCHED THE ONLY GOD FORGIVES MOVIE TWICE...I HAVE NO OPINION...I KEEP FORGETTING THE DAMN THING./

reply

Drive is one of the best movie adaptations of a novel I've ever seen. Gosling's performance definitely contributes to that because he's able to project that air of mystery. Heck, I'd follow him down to a random corner of the L.A. river, too!

reply

Same. I thought he was menacing yet a gent👍

reply

RYAN FUCKING GOSLING!!!!

reply

PanAm. That's where I've seen Margo recently

reply

honest question: WHO IN THE HELL NAMES THEIR KID LARS?

reply

Germans.

reply

germans do not have a good sense in baby names it seems then lol

reply

And Scandinavians I think too.

reply

The Ulrichs

Signed, million man

reply

😂🤣😂🤣

reply

🤣

reply

LMAO, I LOVE METALLICA

reply

Its supposed to take place in Wisconsin so we have: Swedes, Norwegians, and Dutch primarily.

His last name is Lindstrom so it's Swedish.
