I’ve liked him in a few things. Dolemite Is My Name, I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, etc. but I always feel like I’m watching Chris Rock playing himself.

His best role was Pookie the crackhead in New Jack City imo. He showed some range in that one.

I think he's fine in comedies even though he's one note. But when it comes to drama, I've seen soap opera actors do better.

Agreed, he’s no great shakes as an actor but he’s got charisma. A guy can pay for acting lessons but nobody can buy charisma.

If he didn't want to be judged as an actor, he shouldn't be acting. I'd give him a higher score if I rated him as a comedian.

As an actor, probably lower than I'm giving as I think he always just plays himself, but I've liked him in a few of his roles, so a 4.75/10

I've only seen Rock in Lethal Weapon IV and that was like forever ago.. I'd rate him a 4/10

As an actor, he makes me laugh, 7 out of 10.

As a fighter, 10 out of 10 for taking a slap from the Fresh Prince of Public Assault without flinching.
