To its benefit, classic rock was really album oriented, leading to continuous good songs throughout the LP. Unfortunately, and with a fear of sounding like an old dude, those days are over, and it’s been over for awhile. But I can see why it works now, with streaming and all. Screw the whole album and just buy what tunes you like. But it was nice to just put in the CD or spin the album and just sit back and enjoy, not needing to skip anything.
Those young ladies from Isle of Wight, Wet Leg, are pretty damn good. Their eponymous debut album is so fun : the sardonic, witty, tongue-on-ass-cheek humor is a blast . Im looking forward to their follow up second album…should be good….
