Well if you switch genders and you are either Cher or Madonna, that age gap is WAY too small

pregnancy adds a whole new dimension. she's been through a few boyfriends her own age. i find it find strange she has fallen for this older guy. my brother says he a good guy and he's got the seal of approval

I hate to be this type of person, but comments like this are like when doctors refuse to give tubal ligations without a husband's consent or won't do until a woman is much older because she might change he mind. I would hope that people discuss their wants before they get into serious relationships.

Because it's pretty much permanent it's almost impossible to get unless you've already had kids. There are doctors who will do it, but it's pretty rare. I haven't heard much about husband consent here, but check stories from the US. Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia all require written consent of the patient's spouse.

shareSpousal consent no, but it is still really difficult to get an elective tubal ligation in Canada without having more than one child. It's a fight even when you've just had one. In Alberta we have Catholic run public hospitals that will only do one if it's medically required after a c-section.

I agree with this. I've always chosen to be with older men. I've connected with them on much better level than guys my own age. I'm sure now people would be screaming that half my boyfriends from when I was in my late teens were pedophiles, but I chose them. My parter now is only 9 years older than me, but we've been together almost 20 years now so...
shareIt used to be a very common thing for women and older teen girls to be with older men.
It makes sense in a lot of ways. The older man is calmer, more established, experienced etc I have dated older women and found the same. It is a different dynamic to dating someone your own age.
For a man dating a younger woman it is fun and romantic usually.
