What was the last "truly awful" movie or show that you watched?

Something genuinely horrendous. Not even "so bad that it's entertaining". Just plain bad.

For me, it's Altered Carbon season 2. I was warned by a lot of people to just avoid it. And man oh man, I wish I'd listened.

It was worse than I imagined. The first season is one of the best darn sci-fi offerings I've ever consumed.

Season 2 was so bad that it genuinely made me angry 😆 . It's been a while since I've watched something that awful.

Wrote my whole feelings on the shows board a few days back.

Anyways, what about y'all?

The Deathhead Virgin (1974)

I found the VHS at a resale shop a while back and I saw Vic Diaz, a staple of Filipino exploitation cinema, was in the cast. I was hopeful but when I got home I was really let down by this jungle / under water horror flick. 70% of its run time felt like mindless filler and to make things worse, Diaz was criminally under used.

Horrible movie but the VHS cover looked great. At least it’s an oddity for the collection.

Golden Temple Amazons (1986)
I bought this dvd following Jess Franco’s filmography and I gave it a 2/10. That’s pretty bad even with all the nudity. They should have given Lina Romay a bigger part. Lol

Warhead (1977)
I don’t remember how I came across this but it’s a serious dud. David Janssen and the rest of the cast were horrible. Filled with mindlessly riding through the desert. 1.5/10

Something I've learned from watching Redlettermedia's Best of the Worst is, even the some of the cheapest & worst films ever made have amazing cover arts.

They were doing clickbait before it was cool. 😄

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

I repeatedly fell asleep. Each time I awoke and saw what was happening on screen, I had a WTF moment. I finally gave up on this unwatchable movie.

I didn't either until I saw this on streaming. The original cast didn't return. The second one is terrible, but this is even worse.

Call Me Kat.

For an apparently smart person, she sure picked a stinker of a show to be in.

The British original was far superior and I recommend it if you haven't seen it.

You mean Miranda? I love that show. One of my favorite sitcoms. Didn't bother with the American though.

The Bold & The Beautiful 😛 They run re-runs at 4am here and it helps with my insomnia because it's so sleepy and sooo boring. Half of hour of characters talking/telegraphing the boring feelings of other characters in quiet rooms in LA followed by those other characters acting out those boring feelings in other quiet rooms and Zzzzzz...

Haha yes. Hasn't missed a beat since 1987 (?) It's been the most popular US daytime soap in Australia.
